The project involved a complete extension and renovation into a two-storey, four-bedroom, office and living residence with two bathrooms, three toilets and rear car park access, while retaining the original front balcony as a key heritage element.
A defining feature of the build is the extensive use of espresso oak timber veneer panelling, carried consistently throughout the home from the hallway, stairwell and kitchen to the upstairs office and joinery.
Technical detailing is expressed through seamless panel transitions, including a concealed pivot powder room door integrated into the hallway panelling, and a continuous material flow that runs up the staircase and wraps the entire upper level, creating a unified architectural language across the project.
