The project involved restoration of the original structure alongside a substantial rear addition. The front façade and principal rooms were retained and repaired, with new works clearly set behind to respect the heritage fabric and streetscape.
Designed by Richard Kerr, the build included structural upgrades, full internal reconfiguration and new window installations to support a contemporary layout within the existing envelope.
The rear extension increases usable floor area and introduces open-plan living, while maintaining compliance with heritage requirements and ensuring a clear distinction between old and new.
Landscaping was delivered in parallel, integrating the built form with the outdoor areas and completing the overall scope.
